The PlayStation VR console is the latest generation of the PlayStation series launched by Sony Entertainment. You know that the PlayStation 3 has been greatly changed compared to the PlayStation. It is equipped with a built-in hard drive that allows you to store game data, music and photo files on the hard drive.
Although it is a new technology, PlayStation Hons VR Move is already available on various websites and in various stores, either as a standalone device or bundled with the console and games. We take a look at the various offerings as well as the history of the device.
Sony’s PlayStation Move is a motion-controlled game control system for the PlayStation VR console. Obviously inspired by Nintendo’s Wii Remote, PS Move is a wireless handheld controller. The controller has internal motion sensors and works in conjunction with the PlayStation Eye camera, which detects the controller’s position in space.
It is also the only game console that can now function as a Blu-Ray disc player. What is a Blu-Ray disc player? It is similar to the DVD players most of us are familiar with, except that it can play Blu-Ray discs.
A Blu-Ray disc can store up to 54 gigabytes of data, while a regular double-layer DVD can only store up to 9 gigabytes of data. In short, due to more storage space in the Blu-Ray disc, it can hold 6 times more data than the DVD we use now, which will be able to contribute high-definition effects to the TV images shown on the screen.
You can use the PlayStation VR console to watch HD movies if you want.
To do this, you’ll need an HDTV (either a plasma TV or an LCD flat screen, LCD being better for your health as it doesn’t emit radiation) and an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) cable to connect your PlayStation 3 to your high-definition TV so you can enjoy those HD effects.
I’ll explain this in a little more detail
- HD means “high definition.” As you know, our TV picture is made up of many small pixels, just like our PC screen. When the TV picture is made of more pixels, the picture will be clearer and sharper, and more pixels need more storage space, so the pictures produced by Blu-Ray disc have much higher quality compared to DVD because they have more storage space for more pixels.
- HDTV able to show all the small pixels in the TV screen, and you need HDMI cable to transfer large amount of pixels from your PlayStation 3 to your HDTV to give you HD effects. Do you have more clarity now?
- You may want to enhance your movie or gaming experience even more by connecting a home theater system to your HDTV to enhance the audio effects, which can include up to 7.1 channels.
- You should buy Pioneer brands as they are very popular in the market because of the high quality sound they can produce.
- Which model should you buy? Of course, a higher price comes with a higher sound quality. You just have to weigh quality and budget yourself.
- Besides the Blu-ray disc player, you can also use some models of PlayStation 3 to play most PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 games.
Why I say some models?
There are 4 models of PlayStation 3 that are generally available in the market :-.
- 20GB Console – has the least hard drive space and cannot connect your PlayStation VR to the internet. However, it does integrate with Emotion Engine that allows you to play the majority of PlayStation.
- 40 GB console & 80 GB console – can allow your PlayStation VR online, but not able to play the majority of PlayStation . 60 GB console that allow you to play the majority of PS1 and PS2 games and even online games.
It is better to get 60 GB console if this is your first PlayStation console, as there are also some nice PS1 and PS2 games that are worth playing.
It also lets you play PlayStation games online. In fact, the main selling point of PlayStation 3 games are the online games where you can compete with other hardcore gamers from all over the world.
You won’t get bored with a single game, since your opponents have turned into intelligent people; and the game developers are also happy, since they only have to maintain their game server and no longer have to worry about the existence of pirated PS VR games.
