AIBE 2022 Result: How to Check Percentile Score

AIBE stands for All India Bar Examination, conducted by the Bar Council of India for the law graduates who want to have the license to practice as an advocate in recognized courts in India. AIBE started to get conducted in 2012 in English, Hindi, and regional languages. The AIBE 16 started from 26th December 2020 and was opened till 25th September 2021, giving the candidates enough time to do the online registration. The admit card was released on 11th October 2021, and on 31st October, the AIBE examination was conducted in various parts of India.

The Exam Details

On 3rd February 2022, 16th All India Bar Examination was declared, and the candidates could check the AIBE 16 result from allindiabarexamination.com. The successful candidates will get a certificate of practice, making them eligible to practice in any court of India. In AIBE 16, 5 questions were dropped out from the actual question paper after receiving directions from the Monitoring Committee. To check the AIBE score, the candidate should first log in to the official website, and then the AIBE 16 result will be visible on the website, which the candidate can download and save.

The Percentile Score

The percentile cutoff has been divided into specific categories. For general category candidates, they need to score 40% or above this to get passed in the examination, and on the other hand, SC/ST need to get 35% of marks. General and OBC category students who scored 38 marks and above were passed, and SC/ST students who scored 33 and above were also marked passed.

More Details

State Bar Council certificate is a mandatory element in the application form that the candidates applying for the 2022 exam should keep in mind. Only enrolled advocates under the state bar council would be allowed to give exams for the AIBE.

The enrolment number photograph signature is a must to get attached. If the candidates upload the wrong information in a case by mistake, they are required to mail the correct information to aibe.bci@gmail.com. All the SC/ST candidates should upload their caste certificates. Otherwise, relaxation on fees won’t be given to them. The application fees for SC/ST candidates are Rs. 2560 and application fees for General and OBC candidates are Rs. 3560. Candidates with disability also have to provide their certificate to claim extra time that the examination board will give. No study material would be provided from the AIBE side.

Steps to Fill the Form

AIBE 17 will be conducted this year, and the tentative date circulating on the internet about the application form that will end in April and some more things will take place in May, but there is no such information on the official website about the examination yet, so the candidate has to wait for the official announcement, but the online filling up of form will be the same as it was AIBE 16 and the steps were as follows-

  • The candidates first have to register themselves, and then the registration number with the password would be sent to the email through which the candidate registered.
  • After getting registered, the candidates have to log in on the same portal.
  • After the information entered by the candidate is visible, they have to print challan and then have to reach to SBI bank with that print challan after 24 hours of registration so that students can make the payment.
  • After 24 hours of making the payment, the candidate has to open the portal again to upload the challan. After successfully submitting the payment and uploading the challan, the window will take the candidate to the portal, where the final application form is displayed. The candidate can download it and take a printout for future reference.

The official website has released many notifications regarding the AIBE 16 result for the same examination. The same methods stated above have to be followed by the candidates who wish to appear for the 2022 exam.
