The first step you should take is to start your PC. You can also use a laptop. Connect it to a power source to ensure it does not power off during the whole process. Also, run a physical inspection of the supply cable you are going to use to connect the PC to the power outlet.

Apart from that, you should also check whether the power outlet is in good shape or not. In case of anything doesn’t seem right, you should change or get that thing repaired.

Launch Web Browser

Once the computer or laptop runs smoothly, you should launch a web browser on your computer. You need to ensure that the web browser you are using is up to date. Apart from that, it should be compatible with the latest software on your computer or laptop.

Moreover, the chosen web browser should work efficiently and should not lag or crash. If that happens, consider changing the web browser.

Access Official Web Address

Enter www.mywifiext.net in the web browser. However, users often commit the mistake of typing the web address in the search bar. You should avoid doing the same. Rather, you should enter the web address in the address bar of the web browser.

While doing so, make sure you don’t commit any typing errors. If that happens, you might end up having different results which serve you to set up wireless access list on your Netgear extender. Also, keep the Caps Lock keys turned off while entering the information.
