A cradle to reassure baby, a bed to grow well
When baby is born, he needs to be protected and reassured. He has just spent 9 months in his mother’s womb, that is to say in a rather restricted space… And suddenly he finds himself in the open air, what an upheaval! We can therefore imagine that when he finds himself lying in a “big bed with bars” he feels a little lost. The cradle is a small bed. It is therefore particularly indicated for the first months. This little bed is perfectly adapted to baby’s size, it forms a protective cocoon in which your little angel will feel safe. The cradle is perfect for small spaces and can easily find its place in the parents’ bedroom if you want to have the baby close to you for the first few nights.
Fixed or mobile cradle, the choice is yours
There are different types of fixed or mobile cradles. Cradles equipped with wheels can be easily moved from one room to another in the parents’ bedroom, for example, to avoid going back and forth during the night, especially if you are breastfeeding. These mobile cribs are very practical to always have an eye on baby during the first months. Even without being an anxious mom, admit that we like to always have an eye on our newborn, and then it’s so beautiful to watch a sleeping baby!

The interest in the convertible bed

term solution. It is an investment, certainly, but that you will not regret! It can accommodate babies from birth to at least 4 years old, or even longer depending on the bed you choose. Some will even follow the child until he leaves the house (again pang in the heart.
Convertible beds transform from a cot with bars into a junior bed (i.e. a small child’s bed): a good way to move into a large bed without being completely lost in a “big” bed. It is also an excellent solution toward autonomy because it allows babies to learn to lie down and get up on their own.
