The recitation of the Qur’an is mandatory for worshipers. While reciting, one must keep in mind the connotation and meaning of each word. Every word is a pearl or a jewel and the meaning and significance of each word must be considered to achieve the desired result. Worshipers are in a world of two worlds, a happy and a humble one. If they neglect the meaning and connotation of words, they will not be humble and thankful to Allah.
Tasbeeh
The meaning of tasbeeh is to acknowledge a higher power or fear. The term ‘l’ala comes from the Arabic word ‘alaa’, which means height. Similarly, ‘uluwwan’ refers to ‘uluwwan’ or ‘fear.’ As the phrase ‘l’ala’ implies, the slave should be afraid of his master.
The meaning of ‘Tasbeeh’ is similar to that of ‘Tahrir’. It is said to be a form of prostration or submission to Allah. When Muslims make the Ruku, they are supposed to recite the Tasbeeh as they bow. There are many versions of this ‘Tasbeeh’, but the most popular is the one containing a Hadith.
Tasleem
The Subhana Rabbiyal Azeeh is a Tasbeeh, a prayer that is said to be recited when a Muslim bows in Ruku. This prayer is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad and has a literal meaning of “Paak hai.” The full translation is Allahumma Anta Salaam. Listed below is a sample of the prayer.

When performing the adhkar, it is important to reflect on the meaning of the prayer. The intent of this is to remember Allah. But, remember not to over-reflect. This is a waswas of the Shaytan, which is intended to distract you from the true intention of your prayer. Moreover, don’t forget to do your salat by reciting the Surat al-Fatiha.

Subhana Rabbiyal Azeeim means “Glory be to Allah my Lord” and can be translated as “submission and prostration to my Creator.” These are the three basic steps to performing this prayer. The first step is consciousness. While you are making the prostration, keep your thoughts on Allah and His religion. After completing consciousness, you must proceed to the second step: reflection on meanings of words.
Recitation of adhkar
The Recitation of Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem is a must during ‘Isha’ prayer. It consists of four Rak’at. The minimum number of invocations is three, while the average number is five. During the prayer, the worshipper should raise his or her head or prostrate at least seven times. The recitation of Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem must be done in both Ruku and Sajdah.
